The Onion pokes fun at United States bed bug problem

The Onion, which is a news satire web site, was recently poking fun at the United States bed bug problem. The article jokes about the white house bed bug problem after vice president Joe Biden grabs a bed bug infested recliner of the street. It’s a pretty funny so check out the “story” below.

White House Infested With Bedbugs After Biden Brings In Recliner Off The Curb

WASHINGTON—The White House suffered a severe bedbug infestation last week after Vice President Joe Biden reportedly “scored” a discarded recliner chair that “someone was just throwing out” on the corner of Windom Road and 32nd Street. “It’s plenty comfy, and I’ll tell ya, they don’t make ‘em with levers like this anymore,” said Biden, scratching at a series of red welts on his arms as he pointed out the pocket on the side that could hold both a remote control and a Coors tallboy. “It reclines all the way back. All the way. And you wanna know what else? It holds two people, if you know what I mean.” Meanwhile, Senegal officials reported that their nation has been plagued by an outbreak of bedbugs since its president returned from a short stay in the Lincoln Bedroom.

Billy the Exterminator is back and better than ever

In case you missed it, the season premiere of Billy the Exterminator did not disappoint! Billy had to deal with an over aggressive Timber rattlesnake. To make things worse the rattlesnakes rattle was missing so he had no way of telling how made he was making the snake. He was able to successfully remove the over aggressive snake. The second portion of the show was dedicated to a bat infestation. Since they seek our dark cabanas places to hide the attic made a prime spot for the bats. Billy pointed out the respiratory problems raised by bats and their guano. As Billy points out guano is “good for fertilizing and bad for children”. After identifying the entry point of the bats, Billy chased them out of the attic with soap and water. After getting them out of the attic, Billy sealed the entry point to assure the bats wouldn’t return. All in all it was a great season premiere and we will be keeping you updated on future episodes!

Billy the Exterminator Season 2 Premiere!

Today is a big day in the exterminating world. Billy the Exterminator, a TV show on A&E, is airing the premiere of the second season tonight! The show is very popular among the pest industry and seems to be right up there with the highly acclaimed show, Verminators. Billy will have to battle raccoons, bats, rats, and even wrestle alligators in his quest to rid those pesky critters away from his customers homes. Remember when Mike Rowe did a show on Billy the exterminator? It was awesome so be sure to catch the season 2 premiere tonight at 8:30 Tucson time.

As I sat down to indulge in my lunch a few days ago, I turned on a local news station to get my 10 minute dose of a local Tucson newscast. A few seconds later a story flashed across the screen that made me absolutely sick to my stomach. The headline read “headless Javelina’s found, authorities need your help”. I understand the sport of Javelina hunting is a popular enterprise in this region of the United States. But this senseless and highly illegal slaying of this beautiful desert creature is highly inhumane and unjust. The Arizona Department of Game and Fish is asking your help and offering a reward to anyone with information leading to an arrest associated with the slain animals.
