Power was lost yesterday around the Midvale area, reportedly due to rats. Rodents once again were to blame for the power outage, which is a common occurrence in the area. On July 28th and August 11th power was lost in the Midvale area due to rats chewing on wires. This is the 3rd time rodents have caused a power outage in the last month. TEP had reportedly fixed the problem after the August 11th incident. Hopefully they will be fixing the problem correctly after this occurrence and keep those pesky critters away from equipment. We received a few tweets about the issue, Pete Rodriguez tweeted us saying, “this is the not one, two, but third time! one time it was during one of the hottest days of the year!” Pete is exactly correct and this power outage problem is looking like it is becoming quite the nuisance. Who knows how many more power hungry rats will try to take over the world?
